Marketing Manager - Tree Care Division

About The Position

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to own demand generation for our Tree Services division. This role is responsible for driving localized, high-intent demand that converts into booked jobs and profitable revenue. This is not a brand-only role. The Marketing Manager will own performance marketing, local demand strategy, and maintain tight alignment with operations capacity and seasonality. The ideal candidate is an operator-minded marketer with experience in home services or outdoor services who is comfortable being held accountable to real business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of marketing experience in home services, outdoor services, or localized multi-location businesses
  • Proven experience owning local demand generation and measurable performance outcomes
  • Google Local Services Ads (LSAs)
  • Paid search and landing page optimization
  • Call tracking and attribution platforms (e.g., CallRail, ServiceTitan, HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to tie marketing spend directly to revenue outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations and sales teams
  • Managing and appropriately spending a marketing budget

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in tree services, landscaping, irrigation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or garage door industries
  • Experience marketing high-ticket services ($1,000–$20,000+)
  • Experience managing agencies and external vendors
  • Experience operating in seasonal, weather-driven demand environments

Responsibilities

  • Demand Generation & Local Growth Own end-to-end lead generation strategy for Tree Services across: Google Local Services Ads (LSAs) Paid Search (Google / Bing) Local SEO and Google Business Profiles Landing pages and conversion optimization
  • Drive demand that is bookable, serviceable, and profitable—not just high volume
  • Adjust marketing spend dynamically based on seasonality, weather, and crew capacity
  • Operations & Sales Alignment Partner closely with operations and scheduling teams to balance demand with crew availability
  • Collaborate with call center and sales teams to improve booking rates and speed-to-lead
  • Ensure lead quality, geographic relevance, and service fit
  • Performance Management & Analytics Own reporting and performance dashboards including: Leads, booked jobs, completed jobs, and revenue attribution Cost per booked job and channel-level ROI
  • Analyze performance on a weekly basis and reallocate budgets as needed
  • Hold agencies and vendors accountable to performance outcomes
  • Campaign Execution & Optimization Launch and optimize: Seasonal promotions Service-based campaigns (trimming, removal, inspections, storm response)
  • Test new geographic markets, offers, and service bundles
  • Quickly identify and pause or eliminate underperforming campaigns
