About The Position

The Russ Darrow Group are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Marketing Manager to oversee the execution and performance of marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels. This role is responsible for managing campaign implementation, monitoring effectiveness, and ensuring all marketing efforts are accurate, timely, and aligned with brand standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-focused, and stays current with evolving marketing platforms, trends, and local listing requirements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related role
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns (paid media, social, email, web)
  • Knowledge of Google Ads (SEM/PPC) and SEO and strategy behind them
  • Familiarity with business listing platforms such as Google Business Profile and Yelp
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make performance-driven adjustments
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel to dealership locations as needed

  • Automotive experience a plus
  • Experience working with external vendors or agencies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage day-to-day marketing campaigns across paid media, email, social media, SMS, website, and third-party platforms
  • Manage and optimize PPC/SEM campaigns across Google Ads, improving ROI through strategic keyword targeting, bid adjustments, and performance analysis
  • Lead a comprehensive SEO strategy, driving organic traffic growth through on-page optimization, content planning, and technical SEO improvements
  • Monitor campaign performance and key metrics, making adjustments to improve engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates
  • Maintain marketing calendars, promotions, and timelines to ensure campaigns launch on schedule and without errors
  • Review and approve creative assets, ad copy, and campaign setups for accuracy, compliance, and brand consistency
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation across channels
  • Ensure accuracy across all digital touchpoints including websites, landing pages, inventory pages, and third-party listings
  • Manage and maintain business listings across platforms such as Google, Yelp, and other directories, ensuring consistency and optimization
  • Monitor listing performance, customer reviews, and platform updates to maintain strong local visibility
  • Track and report on lead flow, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Troubleshoot campaign, tracking, or platform issues and work with partners to resolve them efficiently
  • Support the implementation of new marketing tools, platforms, and processes
  • Travel to dealership locations as needed to support marketing initiatives, ensure brand consistency, and assist with on-site execution
  • Stay up to date with changes in digital marketing platforms, algorithms, and best practices (Google, Meta, email platforms, etc.)
  • Maintain awareness of updates impacting local listings and search visibility across platforms like Google, LLMs, Bing and Yelp
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for campaign and listing improvements
  • Apply new platform features and evolving best practices to enhance campaign performance and visibility
  • Continuously evaluate and refine marketing efforts based on performance data
