The Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping, communicating, and amplifying the organization’s culture, brand, and employee experience—both internally and externally. This role serves as the steward of the company’s culture and employer brand while also leading strategic internal marketing, external marketing, and event initiatives that strengthen market presence, employee engagement, and community relationships. The Marketing Manager partners closely with Human Resources, Leadership, Operations, Safety, and Business Development to translate strategy and values into meaningful communication, campaigns, events, and storytelling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, culture, internal communications, or employee engagement.
  • Proven experience managing campaigns, events, and multiple priorities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, trades, manufacturing, or multi-site organizations.
  • Experience managing or mentoring interns or entry-level team members.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, marketing platforms, and internal communication tools.
  • Graphic design, photography, video, or content creation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead culture initiatives that reinforce desired behaviors and accountability.
  • Ensure culture and values are embedded into recognition, communications, and events.
  • Support leaders in modeling and reinforcing cultural expectations.
  • Own and execute the internal communications strategy.
  • Develop internal announcements, newsletters, campaigns, digital signage, and leadership communications.
  • Translate company priorities and strategic initiatives into clear, engaging employee-facing messaging.
  • Ensure effective communication reaches both office-based and field employees.
  • Manage internal brand standards, messaging tone, and storytelling.
  • Highlight employee stories, safety milestones, team achievements, and company wins.
  • Align employer branding efforts with recruiting and external marketing initiatives.
  • Increase employee pride, advocacy, and connection to the organization.
  • Support and execute external marketing initiatives aligned with company brand and strategy.
  • Collaborate on content for social media, website features, community updates, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency between internal culture messaging and external brand presence.
  • Oversee and guide the Social Media Intern to ensure brand-aligned, professional content.
  • Plan and execute external events including community outreach, trade shows, customer events, and company-sponsored initiatives.
  • Manage event logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and on-site coordination.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure professional representation at external events.
  • Support community engagement and brand visibility initiatives.
