About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead and execute marketing strategies that drive membership growth and enhance member engagement for a private social and recreational community. You will manage inbound membership inquiries, create compelling social media content, design marketing collateral, and maintain clear communication with prospective and existing members. The position combines creative content creation, operational follow-through, and data-driven management of membership systems. You will collaborate with on-site staff and leadership while independently driving initiatives that increase membership interest, improve engagement, and strengthen the community experience. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants direct impact on growth outcomes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of marketing experience managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience running marketing for a traditional or local business.
  • Strong social media management, content creation, and basic graphic design skills.
  • Excellent written communication and professional correspondence abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple tasks, and executing marketing campaigns end-to-end.
  • Practical mindset focused on execution, follow-through, and measurable outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, private clubs, real estate, or local businesses.
  • Familiarity with membership management or CRM systems.
  • Experience creating newsletters or email marketing campaigns.
  • Comfort using AI tools for content creation and marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound membership inquiries from referrals, local partners, and community channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Coordinate tours and membership conversations with on-site staff and track leads for proper follow-up.
  • Plan, create, and publish social media content highlighting events, community activity, and member experiences.
  • Design simple graphics and visuals for social posts, newsletters, and announcements while maintaining consistent brand voice.
  • Send member updates, newsletters, and announcements, supporting onboarding communication for new members.
  • Manage internal club systems for membership and communication data, tracking engagement metrics and lead activity.
  • Identify practical improvements in marketing processes and support campaigns that increase membership interest and community engagement.
