About The Position

This leadership role is the lynchpin of global industrial strategy, driving execution and connectivity with sales at a market level in Europe. In this role, you will lead the European industrial marketing team to support the delivery of volume, turnover, gross margin, and market share targets aligned with global and Europe PU strategy. You will coordinate all brand & comms activities and lead execution of strategic global offers/programs in market. You will also lead a team that performs strategic global offers, activates brand campaigns and defines the marketing requirements needed to support the market in the short, medium, and long term. These plans will be developed in collaboration with stakeholders across Marketing and the Industrial business.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field is essential.
  • Extensive marketing expertise.
  • Significant knowledge of Industrial business, brands, and operational environments.
  • Experience of working in sophisticated and challenging global organisations.
  • Basic marketing and brand management skills.
  • Strong Product management and project management skills.
  • Ability to successfully build enduring and positive relationships with senior level leaders from a broad range of business fields.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Verbal and written proficiency in German is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Translate global industrial marketing strategy into local marketing plans.
  • Develop and coordinate implementation of plans to drive Industrial growth in line with Europe strategy.
  • Accountable for driving new offer projects, products & major strategic brand campaigns in market.
  • Act as single focal point for understanding the customer segments, buyer journeys and integrated customer experience and implementing globally aligned solutions to improve the CX.
  • Deploy the offers on time, in full.
  • Manage internal relationships within the wider Castrol marketing function, such as Brand and Comms, Product Portfolio and Pricing to enable successful implementation of offers.
  • Work closely with the Product Portfolio Manager to ensure the Europe industrial product portfolio is fit for purpose to deliver near and long term GM growth targets consistent with global space/brand strategies and market margin growth priorities.
  • Contribute local knowledge and insight to global product category strategies for industrial.
  • Lead the brand & strategic activation planning in country and lead country activation team to implement all the major Marketing programs.
  • Represent Industrial in the LBM process and other processes and forums.
  • Manage and optimally deploy the country's ASP allocation. Conduct detailed evaluation of the business results/ROI to ensure cost efficiency.
