About The Position

Daikin Applied is seeking an Equipment Marketing Manager responsible for leading solution-level go-to-market strategies for their product portfolio, driving education, market adoption, differentiation, and growth. This role acts as the central marketing liaison across product teams, aligning complementary technologies into a unified value proposition tailored to building owners, operators, engineers, and sales partners. The Marketing Manager collaborates closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Equipment Business Units to define positioning, execute launches, and translate technical capabilities into customer-centric messaging to improve sales effectiveness. By connecting product messaging to customer needs, this role develops and oversees integrated marketing programs and sales enablement tools to help the field confidently position solutions in a competitive market. This is a leadership role that involves developing a team, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure strong performance and alignment with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, journalism, communications or marketing
  • 8 + years of proven experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, go-to-market strategy, and product launches. Preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
  • Knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment technologies or related B2B equipment markets
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused messaging
  • Excellent strategic thinking and project management skills for complex launches and campaigns
  • Skilled in content development for collateral, presentations and digital assets
  • Strong analytical skills to measure performance and optimize marketing programs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships across teams and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Lead equipment and portfolio-level positioning and messaging to ensure differentiation in the market and alignment with customer needs such as reliability, redundancy, scalability, energy efficiency and speed to deployment
  • Provide leadership, direction, and development to team members, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment that aligns with organizational goals and supports team growth, accountability, and long‑term capability building
  • Plan and execute integrated equipment launches in collaboration with Corporate Marketing, Engineering, National Accounts, and the Product Business Units, delivering clear, timely and impactful got-to-market assets
  • Develops and execute integrated marketing programs—including digital campaigns, product launches, sales tools, and channel enablement—to drive demand, expand market share, and support revenue targets for core and emerging equipment offerings
  • Support full lifecycle product marketing initiatives from new product introduction (NPI) through end-of-life (EOL), incorporating customer, sales and market feedback to inform product roadmaps
  • Lead and manage relationships with external agencies and creative partners to deliver high‑quality launch campaigns. Provide strategic direction, set clear expectations, and ensure alignment to brand guidelines, business objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Own and oversee content strategy for digital channels including websites, email campaigns and social media to drive awareness, demand and solution adoption
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize impact and ROI
