About The Position

Are you a student who enjoys writing, organizing information, and collaborating with a team to bring ideas to life? Lochmueller Group is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our marketing department across a variety of initiatives, including communications, branding, digital content, and internal projects. This internship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn how marketing supports our teams and highlights the impact our work has on communities across the region. This is a great opportunity to gain real‑world experience, build your portfolio, and learn how marketing works inside a professional engineering environment. Requirements

  • Students pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writers with great attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office
  • Organized, curious, and eager to learn.
  • Interested in how marketing supports engineering, architecture, or construction projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus (but not required).

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team with day-to-day execution across social media, communications, branding updates, and internal marketing initiatives
  • Assist with organizing, maintaining, and managing marketing content, including digital files, photos, project materials, and databases
  • Conduct research and contribute ideas to support marketing strategies, campaigns, and employee engagement effortsHelp clean, organize, and prepare content for use across marketing systems and AI-enabled tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability
  • Collaborate on a larger, project-based initiative throughout the summer and present findings, recommendations, or outcomes at the conclusion of the internship
  • Jump in on other marketing tasks as needed — every day looks a little different.
