About The Position

The Discovery Land Company is seeking a Marketing Intern to join The Hills Club, one of its New York properties located in East Quogue. This is a full-time, on-site position expected to run from June through August 2026. The intern will play a role in creating the Discovery Land Company experience by collaborating closely with both property and corporate teams to execute various marketing-led initiatives. The Hills is a close-knit community of 110 residences situated in the Hamptons on New York’s Long Island, serving as a summertime destination for families. It offers a world-class Tom Fazio golf course, a comprehensive wellness center, outstanding culinary experiences, and Discovery’s signature Outdoor Pursuits program. Additionally, The Hills is located just 15 minutes from Dune Deck Beach Club. Discovery Land Company is a U.S.-based real estate developer and operator of private residential club communities and resorts, dedicated to creating unique environments that provide individuals and families with freedom, security, and resources to learn, grow, and play in beautiful locations worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree completed or in progress.
  • Marketing or Communications Major Required.
  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Professional working proficiency in English required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with e-mail marketing platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and compelling digital content across apps, social media, and other multimedia materials.
  • Support Regional Marketing Director with photoshoot preparation, planning and shot lists.
  • Upload photo and video assets to the company CMS and DAM.
  • Work closely with the leadership, corporate event and experience team, and Regional Director to successfully execute large-scale summer marketing events.
  • Develop creative decks and mood board inspiration for events.
  • Assist with invitation design and itineraries, manage RSVPs and responses.
  • Write clear and consistent copy to reflect Discovery’s brand messaging and tone.
  • Support campaign planning by organizing timelines, assets, and approvals.
  • Build, manage, and QA e-mail marketing campaigns with support of Regional Marketing Director.
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing Director to execute e-mail communications and campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Events, Brand, and Digital, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and manage logistics across marketing and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform general marketing administration tasks.
  • Complete other marketing tasks as needed.
