About The Position

Whitestone REIT is looking for a Marketing Intern with an eye for design and the knowledge to use credible, trustworthy, transparent media within the Commercial Real Estate workforce during the Spring, and Summer of 2024 with the opportunity to stay on as a direct hire based on the need of the business. The Marketing Intern will be a valued, hands-on, creative, and strategic contributor to marketing efforts for the company. By utilizing your understanding of channel marketing campaign strategies, analytics, and results-driven activation marketing, you will help determine the best ways to engage our target audience.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of digital marketing, photoshop strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate with internal departments and coordinate with external consultants
• Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize heavy workloads
• Background in social media and digital marketing
• Must be innovative and willing to take risks and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Collaborating and assisting the Leasing team with building and modifying property brochures
• Update the property listing on the WSR website
• Assist with leveraging social media to identify and reach the target audience and communicate positioning
• Assist with devising a clear and concise digital multi-channel marketing campaign and collaborating with vendors in order to execute
• Analyze the roles of website content, email, banner display, social, and other marketing channels and their individual and collective impact on integrated campaigns
• Create and implement engaging content across media platforms our audience will value
• Coordinate with internal teams for regional campaign deployment and execution
• Collaborate with relevant internal departments to collect and archive impactful content for channel marketing campaigns
• Other marketing-related tasks or projects as assigned
