About The Position

This is a part-time temporary role with the potential for conversion to a permanent position based on business need. The Marketing Intern supports Providien Thermoforming's brand presence and marketing operations under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing. This role provides hands-on experience in brand development, digital marketing, and marketing collateral production for a growing precision manufacturing company. The intern will contribute to projects that strengthen how Providien presents itself to customers, prospects, and the broader market.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and brand voice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular strength in PowerPoint or other presentation platforms (e.g., Google Slides, Canva Presentations).
  • Basic familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or project experience in marketing, branding, or communications.
  • Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing concepts or exposure to a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on photography experience, including comfort operating a DSLR or mirrorless camera; photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar) a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in updating and improving website content, layout, and messaging to reflect current capabilities and brand standards.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral including product sheets, capability brochures, presentations, and trade show materials.
  • Create and edit digital and print assets using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Help maintain brand consistency across all customer-facing materials and communications.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to inform messaging and positioning.
  • Draft copy for marketing materials, email campaigns, and social media content (LinkedIn, company website).
  • Capture original photography and video content showcasing facilities, products, processes, and team for use across marketing channels.
  • Assist with updating and organizing the marketing asset library including photos, logos, templates, and brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to gather input for customer-facing materials.
  • Track and report on basic marketing metrics such as website traffic, content engagement, and campaign performance.
