About The Position

Two Marketing Interns will be hired to support event-related responsibilities during the summer concert season. All items listed above are illustrative and not comprehensive. Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Effective verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience recommended
• College students recommended with a preferred concentration in marketing, communications, business management or a related field
• Knowledge of the Detroit Media Market
• Knowledge/Interest in the Event Marketing Industry

Responsibilities

• Assist and/or individually execute marketing and publicity activities at events
• Point of contact for radio remotes
• Point of contact for radio/tour media promotions night of the event
• Escort photographers/videographers to designated areas, front of house, to shoot artists according to tour policy
• Main point of contact for reviewing press needs night of the show
• Execute box office media and promotional will-call needs on the night of the show
• Assist the Marketing & Communications department with additional projects, including digital, media promotion, and publicity as directed
• Familiarity with Facebook, X, TikTok, and Instagra,m with the ability to post before, during, and after events
