Summary Custom Truck One Source is looking for a summer Marketing Intern to assist with digital and content marketing operations and event projects.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Adobe Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling inbound marketing requests and team correspondence.
  • Support organization and logistics for marketing events and campaigns.
  • Maintain organized digital files, assets, and documentation.
  • Organize and maintain promotional merchandise, swag, and literature.
  • Support tasks including PowerPoint creation and editing, product description generation and cataloging, budgetary purchase order documentation, customer appreciation accommodations, and branded merchandise coordination.
  • Assist with marketing systems audits (AdPipe, Dropbox, HubSpot) to improve file organization and usability.
  • Review and archive or expire outdated content; flag items requiring compliance or safety review.
  • Apply tags and metadata to digital assets to improve searchability and indexing.
  • Help document updated folder structures, naming conventions, and workflows.
  • Create simple job aids or reference guides outlining new organization systems and best practices.
  • Assist in cleaning, standardizing, and organizing marketing data.
  • Verify and update information in company ERP, CRM, and related systems.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support new data entry initiatives while enriching and maintaining existing datasets.
  • Review and proofread marketing materials, including blog posts, emails, product descriptions, and social media content.
  • Suggest improvements in grammar, punctuation, clarity, and readability.
  • Ensure brand voice and consistency across written materials.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor marketing strategies.
  • Research and compile relevant articles, case studies, and market insights.
  • Summarize findings and share actionable insights with the marketing team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
