AbelsonTaylor Group is looking for 9 Chicago area-based interns to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program, nextgenerATion. Our internship program offers a rewarding experience that fosters creativity, collaboration, and inclusivity. You’ll collaborate with professionals across all levels, gaining hands-on experience to give you a competitive edge in your career. During the program, you’ll have the chance to engage with teams from various departments. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with fellow interns on an exciting, summer-long group project! Marketing Intelligence Intern Our Marketing Intelligence team is stacked with smart cookies. That’s because it’s on them to derive, model, and interpret the market conditions that inform our client strategies, identify business growth opportunities, and measure success.

Requirements

  • An expected 2026 graduate, or a rising senior (graduating 2027).
  • You are a dependable, self-motivated professional who thrives in a hybrid schedule, with optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and required on-site presence in our Chicago office Tuesdays through Thursdays.
  • Naturally curious and able to question and think critically about data—and communicate these complex ideas effectively across audiences and work teams
  • Experience in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Python
  • Statistics and modeling
  • A champion of diversity and an inclusive culture, who uses cultural competence to propel agency and client business forward

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity in Version control (e.g. git, GitHub, bitbucket)
  • Google Cloud SQL
  • Web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Salesforce)
  • Visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g. Datorama, Tableau, matplotlib)
  • Passionate about finding new ways to problem solve and eager to learn new skills including evaluating segmentation, research, lifetime value, and ROI

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with MI to develop tools, workflows, and insights to help bring to light opportunities and threats to brand success
  • Gain exposure to research collecting and synthesizing evidence into actionable strategies clients can use to transform target audience behavior
  • Shadow the MI team as they aggregate data from a variety of online channels including display, SEM, OLV, Native, Social, Content etc., and coordinate internal and 3rd party tagging for brand assets and collection and integration of brand data with 3rd party vendors
  • Collaborate with fellow interns on a comprehensive, final project to feature in your professional portfolio
