About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Event Coordinator to join our team at IMA Medical Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of marketing events aimed at promoting IMA Medical Group. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative event strategies that effectively target our key audiences. From seminars and workshops to health fairs and community outreach programs, you will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and fostering positive relationships with our patients and the local community. This position comes with a typical schedule of 8:30 am-5:30 pm, Monday-Friday. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING EVENT COORDINATOR: Event planning and coordination of various communities, sales sites, clinic, brokers, and health education events within the designated region. Partner with internal staff (i.e., Sales, Patient Services, and Operations) for the coordination and implementation of events. Includes consistent communication with the Regional Sales Manager for scheduling and participation of Community Outreach Specialists at events. Collaborate with internal Sales staff and external Insurance Brokers and Agents in identifying event opportunities and negotiating budget-based and fair split cost structures for such events, considering projected ROI. Negotiate pricing with vendors for event-related services like décor, catering, and entertainment. Build event vendor roster for events in designated regions. Abide by established branding guidelines at all events. Entry of all events in project management, CRM, and scheduling apps utilized within the Marketing department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in creating marketing strategies and leading teams
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite
  • A result-driven approach to projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to multitask and manage your time efficiently
  • Detail-oriented
  • Work well in a team environment but also independently

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience at an advertising firm or in an advertising department is a plus
