About The Position

The Marketing Event and Content Coordinator, reporting to the Integrated Brand Manager, will effectively manage, coordinate, and promote key USTA Eastern events taking place within the section throughout the year. Key duties, along with all associated managerial and administrative tasks, include but are not limited to: Manage volunteer recruitment and onboarding process across all USTA Eastern touchpoints (including council roles and event activation) Plan and execute onsite events to support Competitive, DEI, and Community teams Help to prepare and organize key annual events such as the Eastern Tennis Conference, USTA Eastern Hall of Fame and Annual Meeting, College Showcase Day, and tournament director workshops Support regional activities and engagement Support coaching recruitment and engagement activities Assist with events involving sponsors Coordinate content capture for social media at relevant events Aid the social media manager in identifying trends and brainstorming innovative social content Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications department (MAC) to educate and ensure consistent delivery of USTA Eastern branding Provide comprehensive customer service and support to sponsors and partners Work cross-functionally with various Eastern departments, fellow section and national counterparts, and other industry leaders to administer programs and projects Serve as staff liaison to the MAC department and respective subcommittees Adhere to program budgets Travel as required (at least two events per month within New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York) Perform other duties as assigned by the Integrated Brand Manager

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work weekends as needed.
  • Tennis knowledge and experience are required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Must be available for travel and pass USTA National Safe Play and USTA Eastern Section background checks.

  • The expected starting salary for this position is $66,300. This does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
