About The Position

To work alongside the Director Sales & Marketing to handle the day to day execution of the marketing plans to generate awareness, revenue and demand, and maintain a positive reputation for the Omni Orlando Resort t ChampionsGate on a local, regional and national level through public relations, media contacts, marketing and advertising efforts and local market leadership endeavors.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work alone as well as work well with others.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be extremely computer savvy (Microsoft Word, Publisher, Outlook, Express, Excel).
  • Must have good organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous knowledge of Delphi, Opera and Synergy preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and maintain consistent brand voice
  • Execute content management on multiple property websites, OH.com Calendar of Events, OTAs, Cvent, Starcite, and other online listings
  • Collaborate to create content for social media calendar; community management of all social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. including posts, profile content, contests/promotions, guest engagement and reporting
  • Monitor and engage on various social media platforms, replying to comments, messages, inquiries, reviews, etc. in brand voice
  • Create, send and track all email marketing campaigns based on direction from DOSM
  • Schedule and lead monthly departmental marketing meetings; follow-up on action items and prepare agendas
  • Track analytics of marketing activity done for respective departments and report out during marketing meetings
  • Daily monitoring and respond to Social Media reviews
  • Act as main marketing contact for Group Sales Team (with DOSM support) assisting them with custom presentations, photography needs, flyers, etc.
  • Collaborate with DOSM to create and distribute monthly Marketing Activity Recap reports to hotel associates to keep them updated on overall marketing efforts
  • Audit and maintain image library
  • Maintain the marketing content calendar
  • Event assistance and planning including special events, video/photo shoots and coordination of individual media visits and media FAMs
  • Assist with photography and video shoots
  • Coordinate general department functions such as supply inventory and organizing promotional items
  • Assist Graphic Designer with general in-house production (weekly resort guides, menus, etc)
  • Maintain Hotel website and maintain resort guide/updates on menus publications
  • Help track marketing fund allocations to maintain set budget
  • Assist in excelling the creative aspects for customer site visits
  • Handles special projects as assigned
