About The Position

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Marketing Coordinator with three to five years of experience to join our team. In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the production of all business development and marketing materials. The ideal candidate for this opportunity can work independently, is collaborative, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This is an onsite position based in our San Diego office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Management, Marketing or Communications; preferred concentration with strong skills in graphics, writing, analysis, and communication
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferrable in the Engineering/Construction industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) with strong graphic layout skills, highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) required
  • Proficiency in Deltek/Vantagepoint CRM software highly desired
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and accommodate shifting priorities
  • Self-motivated with proactive problem-solving, organizational, research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication skills across senior management, supervisors, peers, and clients
  • Thorough understanding of engineering and/or construction industry terminology and procedures strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, coordinating strategy and review meetings, oversee content development, manage layout of content/covers/tabs, and produce all proposal materials
  • Prepare interview presentation materials and work with staff to strategize, rehearse, and present to clients
  • Update and maintain personnel and project information for marketing packages, including staff resumes, project profiles, references, industry awards, and project photography
  • Lead staff Business Development meetings, track and report progress against the Business Development Plan, register staff for industry events and seminars as needed, coordinate staff roundtables, manage follow-up for proposals requested and proposals submitted
  • Create monthly, or as needed, social media content highlighting company staff and projects across platforms such as LinkedIn
  • Customer Relationship Management including maintaining the client contact database, and tracking and managing project leads and opportunities throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Develop marketing materials, including informational documents, qualification packages, advertisements, displays, and brochures
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of company-branded items
  • Assist with planning and coordination of company events, both onsite and offsite
