About The Position

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for executing integrated marketing strategies that enhance brand engagement and drive retention. Supporting the Retention Marketing and Fixed Operations teams, this role manages social media and influencer initiatives, e-commerce marketing for Toyota Parts Center Online (TPCO), and internal communications. The position requires strong collaboration with internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to ensure consistent messaging, optimized campaign performance, and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Advertising, or Marketing Major a Plus)
  • 3 - 5 years of advertising and marketing experience required, automotive preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies across various channels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology, web/digital analytics platforms (example: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics); certification is a plus.
  • Experience in PowerPoint, Excel (creating pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas), and MS Office Suite.
  • Capable of working in a dynamic environment, multi-tasking, and managing often changing priorities; Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret highly technical information and translate it into easily accessible information.
  • Adept at building presentations and telling stories using visual cues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required; Spanish fluency is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Experience with data visualization/dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Social Media and Influencer Lead: Lead regional paid digital marketing and influencer strategies with agency partners by analyzing campaign performance, reviewing creative assets, and managing influencer initiatives.
  • Manage vendor partnership, content development, and impact measurement to boost brand engagement.
  • Stay current on social and automotive trends and track the digital program budget.
  • Work daily with external agency teams on tagging, reporting, analysis, data troubleshooting, and dashboard creation.
  • Collaborate across internal teams, external agencies, and third-party partners to promote alignment and cross-training in support of the overall digital strategy.
  • Work with the Offer Lead to ensure offers and qualifiers are accurate and updated monthly across campaigns.
  • Report, deliver, and present on results and concepts related to responsibilities to internal and external stakeholders and executives.
  • E-Commerce Marketing Lead, Toyota Parts Center Online Manage e-commerce marketing for Toyota Parts Center Online (TPCO) by partnering with cross-functional teams and the agency to develop and optimize Tier 3 paid search and email campaigns.
  • Analyze performance data to increase engagement and orders, and ensure alignment with brand strategy and key promotions.
  • Collaborate with TMNA and the TPCO SET Program Lead to maintain an accurate program offers calendar, updating it bi-monthly, ensuring clear communication with agency partners, and timely execution of promotional support.
  • Work with internal teams, external agencies, and third-party partners to strengthen collaboration and cross-training in support of TPCO's overall marketing strategy.
  • Internal Marketing Communications & Explore Site Content Support: Develop SEO-optimized Car Care Tips blog posts monthly through proactively researching, planning, and writing engaging, relevant content aligned with brand messaging and key promotions.
  • Support coordination of monthly Business Unit meeting, Sales Rally, and efforts by providing Retention Marketing content each month.
  • Serve as backup for Sales Rally by assisting with presentations, meeting logistics, speaker content, dry run coordination, and technical support during the event (music and presentation deck).
