Overview of Responsibilities: Supports the development of internal and external communications to engage members and team members and ensures messaging aligns with MSGCU branding. Implements communication tactics in support of marketing and business development initiatives while differentiating MSGCU offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, or related role with responsibility for writing on behalf of others and managing multiple projects simultaneously required, preferably within financial or B2C industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred technology experience includes Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro and/or iMovie, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign); web/portal software including basic HTML; and creation of visually effective graphics, multi-media, and digital signage (such as Four Winds Interactive).

Responsibilities

  • Develops professional, high-quality written materials that aligns with the organization’s style and tone.
  • Creates materials tailored to audience needs, executes engagement strategies, and maintains content for internal platforms.
  • Performs ongoing platform maintenance, including day-to-day operations, page optimizations, and department page organization to support member and team member engagement.
  • Supports video production, including scripting, storyboarding, taping, and editing.
  • Maintains and builds upon existing channels to create content to meet member or other audience needs in alignment with brand standards and organizational messaging.
  • Uses creative approaches in addition to writing such as graphic design, multi-media, and video to convey engaging messages.
  • Works with team to optimize content based on reporting and analytics to enhance effectiveness.
  • Manages the tactical/day-to-day implementation of Classroom Cash Grants and MSGCU Scholarships.
  • Maintains program administration websites and provides communication support.
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of programs and communications.
  • Schedules social media content and engages with the community by responding to interactions and feedback via social and or online reviews.
  • Escalates member feedback appropriately.
  • Reports on performance and provides recommendations to optimize performance.
