At The Alinea Group, our Business Operations team brings together expertise in marketing, data analysis, sales, operational planning, and finance to design and execute comprehensive strategies that support sales leadership and business development initiatives. This team plays a key role in driving revenue growth, elevating our restaurant brands, increasing market visibility, and identifying new opportunities to expand the business. Our growing marketing and business operations team is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to play a hands-on role in bringing The Alinea Group’s magical dining experiences from the table to the screen. As part of the Business Operations team, this position is responsible for executing day-to-day marketing and communication initiatives, from drafting copy and building emails to coordinating content shoots and deploying communications to customers across channels. You’ll spend time in both the creative and operational sides of marketing. This role is ideal for a highly organized self-starter who looks for practical, creative solutions to challenges as they arise. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to translate direction into polished, on-brand communications, ensuring projects move forward efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, English, or related field
  • A high proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, Canva, or the Adobe suite
  • Proficiency in utilizing AI for automating tasks and data analysis
  • Excellent written communication and interviewing skills
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects and tasks from start to finish
  • Experience in copywriting for various channels, including digital media and websites.
  • Ability to adapt writing tone to several different styles, including creative, technical, and informal
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and challenges
  • Experience using email campaign software (Mailchimp) and Squarespace preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute the copywriting, editing, and distribution of restaurant newsletters and email blasts.
  • Collaborate with the Business Operations Team on writing and designing weekly and monthly newsletters, maintaining an institutional email calendar.
  • Execute and maintain our social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to craft compelling copy and visuals that reflect each restaurant, event, or platform’s unique voice and meet organizational goals.
  • Work alongside the business operations team to iterate on, edit, and create concepts for print and digital marketing and communications collateral, including videos, photography, guest-facing content, and advertisements.
  • Work with outside vendors, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and media consultants.
  • Provide support to the Events Manager in collecting, distributing, or monitoring content at on- and off-site programs as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance communication strategies and ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Includes occasional evening and weekend work.
