About The Position

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication initiatives that engage both internal and external audiences. This role plays a key part in fostering a strong organizational culture by creating strategies that connect employees to ABB’s mission and values. In addition, the specialist plans, resources, writes, edits, and manages external content designed to attract target audiences, drive brand awareness, and support lead generation efforts. The position also involves monitoring segment performance and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and effective communication strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing (preferred) to be obtained by May 2026.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies that define and communicate the end-user value proposition, support brand positioning, and drive engagement across internal and external audiences.
  • Create and manage content and campaigns including PR initiatives, success stories, thought leadership, and digital marketing assets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and global communication standards.
  • Oversee internal communications and events, managing channels such as intranet, newsletters, and employee campaigns, while coordinating editorial calendars and supporting HR and community engagement strategies.
  • Monitor performance and ensure compliance, tracking engagement metrics, providing media placement reports, and adhering to legal requirements such as copyright and data protection.
