Job Summary The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the development and execution of NARMC’s marketing, public relations, and internal communications strategies. This role creates and manages content across print, digital, and social media platforms, promotes hospital services and community programs, and ensures consistent brand messaging to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Proven experience in public relations, marketing, advertising, or healthcare communications.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of media relations, digital marketing strategies, and graphic design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or hospital communications.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with video production or multimedia content creation.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and marketing performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and implement marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, publications, website content, and social media posts.
  • Maintain and update website content using content management systems (CMS).
  • Execute and monitor social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Provide marketing and communication support to hospital departments and community programs.
  • Build and maintain media lists and external relations partnerships.
  • Track campaign performance metrics, return on investment (ROI), and media exposure.
  • Coordinate and participate in community outreach events and hospital-sponsored programs.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels including print, digital, and broadcast media.
  • Facilitate effective internal communications throughout the organization.
