The Role We are seeking a Marketing & Brand Operations Manager to support and execute across EnergyX’s marketing function. This is a highly execution-driven role responsible for driving brand consistency, managing events, and ensuring marketing and communications initiatives move forward efficiently and on time. You will work closely with the CMO to execute against strategic direction while taking ownership of day-to-day operations, project management, and implementation. This role is critical in ensuring that ideas are translated into high-quality execution without gaps or delays.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing, events, operations, or communications
  • Experience executing events end-to-end, including sourcing vendors and managing logistics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with brand standards and collateral production
  • Exposure to PR or communications workflows
  • Based in Austin, TX and able to be in the office full-time
  • Willingness to travel for events
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented. You catch what others miss and hold a high bar for quality
  • A self-starter with a bias for action. You take initiative and push work forward without waiting
  • Strong in execution. You are highly organized and follow through on every detail
  • Creatively aware and operationally strong. You can think through ideas and execute them effectively

Responsibilities

  • Brand & Collateral Support and help enforce brand consistency across all company materials
  • Manage production of business cards, print materials, merchandise, email signatures, logos, fonts, and templates
  • Build and maintain company-wide presentation templates and decks
  • Field and fulfill marketing requests from Finance, Engineering, HR, and other internal teams
  • Partner with external designers and vendors to deliver high-quality materials on time and on budget
  • Help maintain and evolve brand systems and guidelines
  • Lead execution of conferences, trade shows, investor events, and corporate activations
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics including research, RFP processes (10–15+ vendors where appropriate), vendor vetting, reference checks, contract coordination, and on-site execution
  • Build detailed run-of-show documents and ensure smooth execution
  • Track budgets, identify cost efficiencies, and flag risks early
  • Oversee inventory management for event materials and merchandise
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate vendor or logistical risks
  • Represent EnergyX professionally at all events
  • Execute against the CMO’s creative direction while contributing ideas
  • Plan and execute internal company events that reinforce culture and team engagement
  • Support internal event logistics, scheduling, and communications
  • Support and project manage PR efforts including press releases, approval workflows, and distribution timelines
  • Maintain and update media and outreach lists
  • Track coverage and follow up with media contacts
  • Help ensure messaging consistency across communications
  • Drive execution across marketing initiatives and ensure timelines are met
  • Track approvals, follow-ups, and deliverables across teams
  • Support key initiatives including investor communications and campaigns
  • Act as a central coordinator to keep projects moving forward
  • Support video and content production workflows
  • Assist with social media coordination and content distribution
  • Help ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice
  • Coordinate with external creative resources
