Fischer Paper is positioned for exciting growth and innovation and is seeking a Marketing Associate to support the sales organization. This role is responsible for managing the product sample fulfillment process, supporting sales reporting, and assisting with a variety of marketing initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with social media platforms, and basic analytics tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or a related role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, execution, and on-site support of trade shows and industry events.
  • Complete event applications, contracts, and rental forms accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate the shipment of product samples, marketing literature, promotional items, and booth materials (e.g., tablecloths, banners, food samples).
  • Support event setup, breakdown, and post-event follow-up activities.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns designed to drive sales performance and brand awareness.
  • Update and maintain marketing and campaign information within the CRM system.
  • Support lead generation tools and campaign tracking processes.
  • Run and analyze campaign performance reports to support the Marketing Channel Manager and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and product research to support Sales and Marketing decision-making.
  • Perform online research, surveys, and utilize third-party paid data sources.
  • Build and maintain searchable databases for Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Develop comparative competitor analyses, industry trend summaries, and targeted sales prospect lists.
  • Publish weekly market updates and insights to support strategic planning.
  • Administer and maintain the Sample Distribution Process, including inventory management, request fulfillment, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across Fischer’s social media channels to support brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Maintain an organized, forward-looking content calendar aligned with campaigns and key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, HR, and external agency partners on visuals, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Track social media engagement and performance metrics, providing insights to improve content strategy.
  • Assist in maintaining Fischer’s website to ensure accuracy, relevance, and visitor engagement.
  • Update product information, promotions, photography, and key site content.
  • Ensure landing pages and downloadable resources are current and aligned with active marketing priorities.
  • Track website traffic and engagement metrics (page views, clicks, popular content) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the planning, development, and distribution of internal communications to keep employees informed, engaged, and connected.
  • Assist with the monthly Fischer newsletter featuring company news, updates, employee recognition, and events.
  • Partner with Leadership to develop presentations and materials for Town Hall meetings and other company-wide communications.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned to support marketing, communications, and organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on teamwork, continuous improvement, and cross-functional support.
