About The Position

We are seeking a Marketing and Partnerships Associate who is passionate about helping climatetech startups connect with industry-leading corporates to get their solutions out of the lab and into the market. This role will support the marketing team, whose goal is to amplify Greentown startups’ climate and energy technologies, and the partnerships team, whose goal is to connect Greentown startups with the corporates who will eventually become their customers, pilot partners, investors, and more. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and the Director of Partnerships.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in event/hospitality, marketing, communications, environmental studies/science, entrepreneurship, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Proficiency with the Google Workspace.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with database platforms such as Salesforce or other similar CRM is a plus.
  • Experience with other tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, FormAssembly, and MixMax is a plus.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, communications, or business operations is a plus.
  • Experience working in a startup environment or with sustainability-focused organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and amplify media coverage and news announcements about Greentown startup members, corporate partners, and Greentown Labs
  • Manage programming to connect startups and corporate partners, including: introduction requests, partner office hours, bi-monthly Deal Flow Digest, quarterly Pilot Digest newsletter, and startup reports
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of startup members, including making updates to Greentown’s website and updating internal systems
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of corporate partners; manage contact information, partner data, and campaigns in Salesforce
  • Support on the planning and execution of quarterly Sector Pitch Day events
  • Maintain News and Careers pages of Greentown’s website, adding member media coverage, Greentown newsletters, and job listings
  • Draft social media posts amplifying Greentown’s community programming and resource offerings
  • Support on front desk coverage needs, ensuring a welcoming environment for Greentown members and visitors
  • Provide additional support to Greentown’s marketing and partnerships teams as needed
