About The Position

The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the department across a variety of marketing and communications functions, including but not limited to advertising, social media and public relations. This role provides exposure to the full marketing lifecycle — from concept development to execution and reporting. Promote a fun and friendly environment that creates excitement for external and internal guests by utilizing the principles of Family Style Service. General: · Assist with the development and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns · Support advertising operations by opening creative job requests, tracking and maintaining signage inventory and installation/removal of on-property signage · Manage social media efforts, including content creation, scheduling and monitoring engagement · Draft and proofread marketing materials such as social posts, press releases, email copy and internal communications · Assist with public relations efforts, including media research, press list updates and coverage tracking · Support on-property or experiential marketing initiatives, promotions and special events as needed · Review and update information on Caesars.com and third-party websites · Conduct competitive research and trend analysis to support campaign planning · Organize marketing assets, calendars and project documentation · Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing team as needed · Manage support staff including Marketing Coordinators assigned to assist in Print Shop. · Provide superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees. · Responsible for deploying promotions and interacting guests, which includes making live announcements and assisting in the completion of prize forms · Disseminating information to all departments involved, in a timely manner about customer events · Setup of all systems and controls necessary for customer events including, but not limited to, CMS and event guidelines · Works in tandem with Corporate to obtain graphics and maintain brand standards for social media. · Assist with development and trafficking of media assets to appropriate parties as directed. · Communicating about customer events in a timely manner to all operations departments as directed. · Deploy events within the guidelines for proper safety and security. · Maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality in all actions and duties. · Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed. · Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner. · Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same. · Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change. · Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management. B. Operating Principles: Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to: Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine; Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures; Friendly – Use customer courtesy skills of Family Style Service to provide superior guest service; Fun – Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards. C. Tools and Technology: Use of computer station, Microsoft office software, casino tracking programs (CMS, AS400), hand-held radio, telephone and PBX system, voicemail, fax, copier and promotional equipment. Sprout Social, Adobe Illustrator, video editing software. D. Licensure: Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo License. Must be at least 21 years of age. No Tax returns are required for this position.

Requirements

  • Four years in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
  • Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, ask questions as appropriate, and not interrupt at inappropriate times.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
