The Communications and Marketing Specialist serves as the departmental communications and marketing officer, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all digital and print media. Additionally, the employee manages the planning and implementation of events that promote the department’s programs and accomplishments. This position plays a key role in advancing the department’s visibility and engagement across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with the College and University’s communications standards. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
