General Description: We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager (Employer Brand) to join our team. The Marketing and Communications Manager (Employer Brand) is responsible for developing and advancing the firm’s employer brand and ensuring that Holland & Knight’s brand platform is consistently expressed across the full talent lifecycle – from recruiting through alumni engagement. Embedded within the Marketing/Brand, Communications and Digital Media function, and working closely with the Human Resources leadership team, this role serves as the strategic liaison between HR and Marketing, translating HR initiatives into clear, compelling communications and ensuring the firm’s brand is reflected in how Holland & Knight engages current and prospective talent. This role is responsible for shaping and maintaining the firm’s employer value proposition across digital channels and internal platforms, strengthening Holland & Knight’s ability to attract, engage and retain exceptional lawyers and business professionals.

Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically and develop and implement brand strategies aligned with the firm’s goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively engage with senior level management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across levels to drive decisions and outcomes.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative, brand-aligned content and campaign ideas across digital and internal channels.
  • Strong project management skills, including scoping work, prioritizing tasks, and managing timelines and deliverables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience in a professional services environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required; degrees include Human Resources, Organizational Development, and Business Administration are also valued.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and advance the firm’s employer brand strategy, ensuring the Holland & Knight brand platform is consistently expressed across the full talent lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through employee engagement and alumni relations.
  • Serve as the strategic liaison between Human Resources and Marketing, translating HR priorities and initiatives into clear, compelling communications strategies and execution plans.
  • Develop and manage employer brand and HR communications content across key digital and internal platforms, including the careers website, intranet, LinkedIn, and recruiting materials, ensuring consistent messaging, tone, and brand alignment.
  • Partner closely with HR leadership to support major initiatives such as recruiting programs, professional development, benefits communications, employee engagement, and culture-building efforts through thoughtful, audience-focused content and campaigns.
  • Coordinate creative resources—including design, video, digital assets, and collateral—to deliver high-quality talent-related communications that align with firm brand standards.
  • Support change initiatives and strengthen internal communications related to culture, talent strategy, and the overall employee experience.
  • Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.
