Our employees help children, at-risk adults, families, and individuals navigate social and economic pressures by connecting them to services and experts who support their overall well-being. The Director of Marketing and Communications is a key leader at DHS, who will help fulfill the DHS mission and Strategic Roadmap. This person will oversee the team that supports all areas of DHS to connect with Denver communities and effectively tell the stories of our customers and staff. Additionally, the Marketing and Communications team serves as a creative thought partner, working closely with the DHS Executive Management Team, the Mayor’s Office, and other city-wide communications teams. The leader of Marketing and Communications will have experience engaging diverse community voices, an understanding of essential services, strong people leader skills, and the ability to convey the breadth of opportunities that DHS supports. This network of opportunities range from connecting people to food, health care, childcare, child and at-risk adult protection, child support, employment support and other essential services to support the health and wellbeing of Denver residents. About the Position: Director of Marketing and Communications This position will work with senior leaders, support community facing meetings and presentations, and manage strategies to promote the agency’s mission and vision.
