The Marketing & Business Development, Senior Associate contributes to the local business pursuit strategy by developing and executing sales enablement activities. This role offers strategic advice and helps refine and improve materials and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of related experience in business development support or marketing
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Technology proficiency with ability to quickly learn new platforms and tools
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

  • commercial real estate experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute proposal strategy by producing customized, high-quality pitches, proposals, RFP responses and client/prospect presentations for new business pursuits and renewals
  • Create and maintain pursuit databases and perform data analysis to provide actionable insights and executive summaries for potential clients and target industries
  • Research and develop the company's unique selling propositions and competitive differentiators using market and competitor intelligence
  • Coordinate and participate in internal pursuit debriefs to capture lessons learned and improve processes
  • Independently manage mid-level pursuits from start to finish, including kickoff coordination, timeline management, and rehearsal scheduling
  • Provide production support to business development managers on large pursuits by attending meetings, creating presentation materials, and managing content revisions
  • Develop expertise across multiple business lines including tenant representation, industrial, agency leasing, property management and retail services
  • Maintain organized digital asset management through business development file systems to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, technology, and research departments, and coordinate subject matter expert involvement as needed
