About The Position

Best Offer KC Homebuyer is not a traditional real estate company. We're on a mission to help thousands of distressed Kansas City homeowners leave the hassle behind, while elevating the communities we serve. We are seeking a strategic, big-picture marketing thinker to help define how our brand shows up in the marketplace-not just by spending more, but by communicating smarter. This role is designed for a creative strategist with an agency or media background who is ready to step out of execution-only work and take ownership of brand direction, messaging, and campaign strategy across TV, radio, digital, and direct mail. You will work alongside a strong in-house execution team to bring ideas to life-your role is to lead the thinking, shape the message, and challenge the status quo. Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of related experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-state advertising, media buying, analytics, branding, continued brand development, and sales funnels.
  • Advanced knowledge of data entry, data processing, and communication tools including Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, and Salesforce.
  • An expert eye for design and detail.
  • A highly motivated individual with a go-getter attitude that is dedicated to personal growth and development.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service, and leadership skills.
  • A meticulous, organized individual with the ability to juggle multiple jobs and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work and perform in a fast-paced, quickly evolving organization with little supervision.
  • Ability to grow an online community and nurture super fans.
  • Ability to lead and develop company talent.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Develop and refine Best Offer KC's core messaging, voice, and market positioning.
  • Clearly define and segment target audiences (distressed homeowners, investors, etc.) and align messaging accordingly.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels, campaigns, and touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities to differentiate from "we buy houses" competitors through education and trust-based messaging.
  • Campaign Strategy & Media Integration
  • Conceptualize and lead multi-channel marketing campaigns across:
  • TV
  • Radio
  • Digital (paid + organic)
  • Direct mail
  • Collaborate with media vendors and partners to ensure campaigns are strategically aligned and performance-driven.
  • Develop campaign themes, hooks, and messaging angles that resonate emotionally and drive action.
  • Identify opportunities to expand into new channels or improve performance in existing ones.
  • Creative Direction & Messaging
  • Lead the development of high-impact marketing concepts, headlines, and campaign narratives.
  • Provide direction and feedback to internal team members and vendors on:
  • Creative assets
  • Copywriting
  • Video and visual storytelling
  • Ensure all messaging aligns with company values:
  • Helping people out of difficult situations
  • Providing clarity and options
  • Elevating Communities
  • Performance Analysis & Strategic Optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance across channels and recommend data-driven strategic adjustments.
  • Identify what is working, what is not, and where to double down.
  • Work with internal team to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and cost efficiency.
  • Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work directly with:
  • Media buyers
  • Marketing vendors
  • Internal marketing team (including execution roles)
  • Act as the strategic bridge between leadership vision and execution.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure marketing aligns with real-world customer experience.

  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging marketing opportunities.
