They analyze data from surveys, company sources, and industry reports to identify trends, assist business development in targeting and identifying lead opportunities, inform lead generation campaigns, and recommend strategies to marketing managers for sales campaigns and promotional initiatives. Essential Duties More specific elements of the marketing analyst job duties and responsibilities include: Market research, analyze and interpret data to: Track and forecast future sales and market trends. Addressable market by region/territory Purchasing behavior and buying cycles by industries and product type Buying trends Analyze current market strategies to determine the effectiveness of approaches. Create and complete data collection research measures. Compile data on market conditions and existing competition including competitor’s marketing methods, prices, and sales. Complete statistical analysis and compile data in visualized formats (Charts, graphs, infographics and other visual aids) for reports and presentations. Develop and maintain accurate, visually engaging and highly actionable reports and dashboards. Oversee the customer satisfaction survey process and work with managers to create ways to increase our overall satisfaction and loyalty (NPS/NLS) scores. Business Development Support: Act as a backup for Business Development Representatives by handling lead qualification, appointment setting, and follow-up communications when workloads are high. Develop reports and dashboards for win/loss analysis, pipeline health, and sales performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
