About The Position

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Market & Event Research Conduct competitive set and industry research to benchmark MCCNO performance.
  • Analyze client survey data and provide recommendations to improve event quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collect post-event performance data and provide actionable insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Analytics Prepare occupancy reports to New Orleans & Company and hospitality partners.
  • Compile reports to communicate results, achievements, and challenges for stakeholders including board members, executive staff, and sales and marketing leadership.
  • Support reporting needs for MCCNO monthly MCCNO Board Meetings and leadership reviews.
  • System & Data Management Maintain accuracy of the event management system, updating accounts, contacts, and invoices as needed.
  • Identify and correct duplicate or inconsistent records.
  • Build and update dashboards that monitor sales activity, event volume, and financial outcomes.
  • Budget & Departmental Support Assist with preparation of initial and revised budget in partnership with Sales, Special Events & Partnerships, and Communications.
  • Partner with Finance, Event Management, and other departments to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Provide coverage for booking and contract functions as assigned.
