About The Position

The Marketing Research Analyst role will involve providing valuable insights to support management and division leadership in their decision-making processes related to product designs and pricing by utilizing market trends and analytical data to enhance business decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Market Research Analysis
  • Ability to interpret substantial amounts of data and to multi-task.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using search engines, web analytics and business research tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM programs
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling, and mining
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • BS degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience with degree; five plus years without degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in homebuilding, real estate, or similar industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Possess the ability to independently analyze qualitative data, identify trends, assess strategies, and evaluate competition, with the goal of enhancing competitiveness.
  • Gathers and interprets market research data, generating reports, and preparing findings to management.
  • Collect data on consumers, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
  • Understand business objectives and analytical methods to discover prospective customers’ preferences.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative-taking abilities, have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Experience in data visual software (i.e., Power BI)
  • Perform valid and reliable market research analysis.
  • Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.
  • Use online market research and catalogue findings to databases.
  • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation.
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, ability to execute continual market research and implement best practices.
