About The Position

Additionally, the team leads projects that promote operational consistency and scalability, managing timelines effectively while sharing best practices across the market. Their efforts support workforce planning, talent management, and performance improvement aligned with business priorities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in workforce and talent management, including coaching, performance management, and talent planning.
  • Strong project management and plan execution skills to drive business priorities and operational improvements.
  • Ability to analyze scheduling and staffing data to inform workforce strategies and enhance scheduling performance.
  • Effective communication and consulting skills to build partnerships and influence stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to manage multiple initiatives, develop contingency plans, and support continuous learning.
  • Demonstrated capability in talent acquisition, succession planning, and talent review processes.
  • Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and integrity while fostering a high-performing team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, and 2 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Specialist supporting a multi-unit/multi-business environment OR 3 years' Walmart management experience with 2 years' experience supervising other salaried managers.
  • Associate will be required to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of Workforce Management programs by identifying operational needs and developing business plans to enhance performance.
  • Drive scheduling and staffing strategies to improve associate experiences and optimize store operations.
  • Manage talent acquisition by developing recruiting strategies, coordinating candidate screening, and facilitating hiring processes.
  • Oversee talent pipelines and succession planning to support workforce development and retention.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of workforce and talent programs, consulting with stakeholders to improve efficiency and cost control.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to build high-performing teams aligned with company values.
