The Market Data Analyst will support the development and execution of a strategic lifestyle service strategy, competitive analysis, and customer insights to support the entry into new software services. This role is responsible for gathering and orchestrating economic, industry, and consumer data to identify new start-up business opportunities and propose them to senior management. The Analyst will guide marketing, business strategies, and support new rebrand positioning with a new start-up business mentality. As a key contributor to new business opportunities, the candidate will work in a fast-paced environment to test market new service offerings. This position is required to conduct business professionally and cordially which will uphold the integrity and reputation of Alps Alpine North America, Inc. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to the policies, regulations, and procedures of Alps Alpine North America, Inc. Market Research Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits. Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews. Use tools like Google Analytics, Nielsen, or Statista to gather secondary data. Work with marketing to analyze customer data, identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey, and drive retention, loyalty, and lifetime value. Competitive Analysis Study competitors' products, pricing, marketing campaigns, and market share. Identify gaps or opportunities in the market. Data Analysis & Interpretation Advise and use statistical software to analyze data sets. Identify trends, forecasts, and actionable insights. Study and summarize the voice of the customer findings. Reporting & Presentations Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to summarize findings. Present recommendations to management or clients to support decision-making. Market Forecasting Predict future market trends, sales potential, and consumer behavior. Help companies plan product launches, advertising campaigns, and budgeting . Monitoring Performance Track marketing campaigns and product performance against goals. Suggest adjustments based on real-time data. Lead In Test Market Projects This position could require travel to test market and to achieve objectives. Take ownership and report on assignments by the Director of New Business Development and Marketing or brand leadership. Take on projects; manage, lead, and execute key New Business Development initiatives, follow up with responsible parties, and make sure projects are completed on time. Build relationships with project teams and managers to help drive completion of high-quality project deliverables. Provide support toward the certification and ensure compliance with customer-required quality management systems (TISAX, TS16949, IATF, etc.) Positions that fall under the functions of Product Development, Legal, HR, IT, and Executive Management are required to exercise a higher level of confidentiality and discretion in handling information that the positions have access to.
