About The Position
The ideal candidate has an upbeat attitude and carries great customer service skills. Working as a Marina Boat Mate, you will constantly be working outdoors in the elements. While out on charter, you will be assisting guests making sure they are comfortable during their cruise. When vessel is docked, the Mate will be assisting the captain in upkeep of vessel; including washdowns, polishing, minor repairs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of boats preferred
- Prior customer service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist guests during charters including boarding, preparing activities like floats, paddleboards, and snorkel gear. Offer food and beverage during charter.
- Constant interaction with guests
- Assists the Captain with docking vessel in and out of slip
- Assist Captain with vessel checklist
- Maintenance of vessels; washdowns, polishing, minor repairs
