About The Position

Role Overview: The Marina Dockhand is the heartbeat of our waterfront operations at the Yacht Club. You are responsible for the seamless execution of watercraft rentals, fueling services, and our premier watercraft valet program. By maintaining a professional, friendly disposition and ensuring our fleet and docks are in pristine condition, you play a vital role in creating a world-class lake experience for every Horseshoe Bay Resort guest and member. Essential Job Functions: Elite Guest Welcome: Greet and assist members and guests with "Genuine Texas Hospitality," anticipating their needs as they arrive at the docks. Fleet & Facility Stewardship: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the rental fleet, docks, slips, and jet docks. Watercraft Logistics: Safely operate watercraft at idle speeds within dock areas for valet services. Assist with the launch, return, and technical checks (gas and oil) of wave runners and other watercraft. Operational Excellence: Execute daily opening and closing procedures with precision. Assist ship store and "hut" personnel with rental transitions and retail support. Safety & Support: Assist members with fueling and docking. Maintain professional composure and a high level of safety awareness in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Revenue Support: Maximize watercraft rentals and retail sales through proactive guest engagement and product knowledge. Minimum Qualifications: Age: Must be at least 16 years of age. Certification: Must possess a current Boater’s Safety Certification. Licensure: Must have a current Driver’s License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for insurance purposes. Experience: Previous customer service experience is required. Technical Skills: Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related inventory/POS software. Professionalism: Commitment to a professional image, including strict adherence to uniform standards and personal hygiene. Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
