Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, and 0+ years of experience.
  • Familiarity with basic electronic testing equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • Basic understanding of reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or TestStand through coursework or internships.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic assembly or testing through internships, co-op programs, or academic projects.
  • Interest in RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of test hardware and software for electronic systems, including analog, mixed-signal, and RF applications at the board and system level.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, test engineers, and manufacturing engineers to understand assembly and testing requirements.
  • Support the implementation of test software for production assemblies under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Perform testing of production assemblies
  • Assist in setting up manual or automated test equipment to conduct functional and reliability tests on prototype or production assemblies.
  • Analyze test results and provide input to senior engineers for corrective actions.
  • Contributes to the improvement of test procedures to simplify testing and/or assembly processes.
  • Gain hands-on experience working on a variety of products for both military and commercial customers.
