About The Position

BorgWarner Noblesville LLC Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer based out of our office at 2151 E Lincoln Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work from the aforementioned address and from home. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned address. Note, this position requires domestic and international travel, as needed up to 20%. Responsibilities include the following: develop and install in manufacturing plants an automated test solution for manufacturing engine and/or battery management controllers; work with a BorgWarner standard PXI system built on TestStand, LabView, and LabWindows CVI; use TestStand and Switch Executive to build an automated functional test; create test mechanization; write SOW to purchase fixtures, load box, and testers; collaborate with systems and electrical design engineers to define test requirements, product test software, and test loads; debug test software and hardware systems; implement Six Sigma test limits; conduct peer reviews of test plan; install test setup in manufacturing plant on time; complete test requirements documentation; and work with team to review and add tests for functional safety.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or closely related and 36 months of experience in the job offered or related
Experience writing functional test software
Experience using statistics to set test limits
Experience reading electrical schematics
Experience debugging functional test equipment
Experience using TestStand to create functional test plan
Note, this position requires domestic and international travel, as needed up to 20%

Responsibilities
