About The Position

This role plays a critical part in supporting catheter manufacturing operations, acting as a flexible, hands-on production expert focused on ensuring quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. The technician will support daily manufacturing operations by setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, and executing both standard and complex build activities in line with established process parameters and quality standards. They will also serve as a subject matter expert (SME), addressing critical production needs, troubleshooting equipment, and leading investigations to minimize downtime. Key responsibilities include performing thorough quality checks, verifying compliance of components and finished products with regulatory and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement through root cause investigations, documentation updates, and process enhancement recommendations. The position requires independent work in a fast-paced setting, maintaining clear communication with cross-functional teams and Manufacturing leadership to report deviations, support pilot runs, and ensure successful production outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in medical devices or catheter-based production.
  • Skills include troubleshooting equipment, root cause analysis, interpreting technical drawings/schematics, and working with hand tools, along with strong documentation and digital proficiency.
  • High School Diploma, vocational training, or equivalent, with hands-on experience in building, assembly, and production processes.
  • Ability to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Self-sufficient, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and can flex across both critical production demands and general manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations across catheter production by setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, while executing both standard and complex build activities in alignment with established process parameters and quality standards.
  • Serve as a flexible resource and subject matter expert (SME), supporting critical production needs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and leading investigations to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
  • Perform thorough quality checks and verify compliance of components, documentation, and finished products, ensuring adherence to strict regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by conducting root cause investigations, updating work instructions and documentation, and recommending process enhancements that improve productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing leadership, to report deviations, support pilot runs, and ensure successful production outcomes.
