Manufacturing Technician Team Lead - Vulcan - 2pm - 11pm

About The Position

This position works from 2pm-11pm This position is responsible for, but not limited to, managing cases for Vulcan Custom Dental and both laboratory and clinical customers. This position shall be responsible for processing daily orders to customer specifications, including but not limited to participation with products and process validations. Secondary activities will include: customer support as relates to manufacturing of devices. Also supports other digital dentistry manufacturing initiatives as established with manager

Requirements

Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Outlook required
Must be comfortable in a production environment where production quotas are mandated.
Experience with working within a Quality System.
Good verbal communication skills, must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
High school Diploma Required
2+ years of CNC Machining experience required

Nice To Haves

Dental Lab/medical device experience preferred

Responsibilities

Execute strategies to maintain quality and consistency of manufactured product.
Use developed machining strategies, fixtures, and tooling for production.
Communicate with management on workflow and capacity.
Ensures established turnaround times for products are achieved.
Perform CAM processing of dental protheses per customer specifications.
Participates in CAM production-related qualifications including Installation, Operation, and Process Validations.
Works with outside suppliers as needed.
Responsible for training production team on proper usage of equipment and software including, but not limited to: CAM, CNC Controls and software, as well as manual finishing processes
Maintain CAM software infrastructure to support current production and identify/implement innovative solutions as needed to increase quality, profitability, or sustain product development.
