Raytheon is hiring for a 2nd shift Manufacturing Team Lead, who works independently, monitors manufacturing operations by analyzing cell performance and productivity. The successful candidate is driven, organized, collaborative, and adaptable. Coordinates scheduling activities and sequencing of work. Works across operations disciplines and support groups. Designs and develops manufacturing processes for products, taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing. Such design and development may include new or revised processes. Develops procedures for economical mass production in cooperation with engineering and production departments. Reviews support requirements and recommend tools and procedure processes. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials. Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel. Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function. Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines. Includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience .
  • Experience working in manufacturing, Operations, Planning, Production, Quality environments and/or test environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Knowledge of CMES/PRISM
  • Final Test Experience

Responsibilities

  • Planning, coordinating, and communicating status on work and is empowered to escalate and clear barriers to progress.
  • Balance hands on work inside the factory environment and communication outside of the factory.
