About The Position

Manufacturing Specialist-Chassis locations: 4Front Erie We are growing! Our state-of-the-art facility in Erie has an exciting opportunity for experienced Electronic Assemblers. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, our Electronic Assemblers are an integral part of the team tasked with assembling electronic components and PCB boards per work instructions to meet customer and quality specifications.   • To conform with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or actively working towards obtaining the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
  • Job requires that the employee is able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds
  • Must have excellent eyesight and hearing (cannot be color blind)
  • Employees must wear safety glasses, ESD smocks, ESD straps at all times when on the production floor (all of these items are provided by 4Front)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous EMS experience
  • Working knowledge of mechanics and electrical systems
  • Clear understanding of IPC 610 quality standards
  • Basic component identification skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative solution capabilities
  • Above-average communication ability using strong listening skills and a logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas

Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions and/or job traveler included in a kit with required material/parts to complete the job
  • Assemble PCB (printed circuit boards) by utilizing tools, fixtures, etc. to achieve customer guidelines and acceptable quality standards (i.e. ISO, IPC, etc)
  • Work in other areas of the department or other departments as needed
