Leads production activities in various work centers (3 or more) in a way that ensures safety, quality, cost, and on time delivery goals are met. Manages a group of Work Centers and disciplines, monitoring on-time and quality performance and promoting operational discipline. Work Center management across various disciplines and focuses with in manufacturing. Lead manufacturing driven projects and initiatives in a cross functional setting as a result of data review or customer feedback. Responsible for developing personnel to achieve forecast and develop P/E. Ensures Methods of Manufacture (MoM's) and Manufacturing Assembly Instructions (MAI's) are followed. Identifies costs savings opportunities and works as a member of the production leadership team to implement Continuous Improvement efforts. Manage the internal operations of the Fabrication departments ensuring adherence to best practices and principles of metal fabrication industries. This position works in various production disciplines ensuring achievement of production metrics across each work center and continued development of the teams. Review overall departmental metrics developing corrective and preventative actions from the data.
