Grand River Rubber Direct Hire Opportunity Our client a growing, locally operated, and employee-owned company has operated in the rubber extrusion sector for more than three decades, specializing in lathe cut gaskets, vacuum sweeper belts, and drum and pail gaskets. Cell Operator Duties Sets up manufacturing extrusion lines and continuously runs rubber products. Performs Quality checks correctly Controls profile characteristics by adjusting oven, belt, and extruder temperatures Keeps profile within specifications using guides Knows quality requirements for customer Able to follow work instructions and procedures Clean up production work area. Ability to use hand tools Complete work reports Grinder Operator Load and unload product from production tooling. Start grinding lathe and observe operations to ensure that manufacturing specifications are met. Start grinding lathe machine and remove completed product at end of manufacturing cycle. Inspect sample workpieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators. Ability to use hand tools Complete work reports Cleanup work area Cure Man Load and unload product from production tooling Sets heat, pressure, and time controls, according to job specifications Inspect sample workpieces to verify conformance with specifications, using instruments such as gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have some manufacturing experience
  • Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Available to work all shifts
  • Ability to stand and move a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Complete work reports
  • Clean up work area

Responsibilities
