About The Position

Role Summary/Purpose: Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing operations experience + minimum of 3 years leadership/supervisory experience)
• This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
• Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.
• Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
• Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
• May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members
