You will support, lead, and/or co-lead multi-disciplined project teams to assist in meeting project milestones and objectives. You will be involved with continuous improvement efforts on several manufacturing lines. We look to you to provide solutions for increased process yield, increased material utilization, decreased costs, improvement to product quality by planning, organizing and implementing projects, and to lead or assist in work packages as part of project team. You will need to provide regular updates on project status, including design reviews and conduct or contribute to a project critique at completion and share key learning(s).

Responsibilities

  • Meet all Environmental, Safety and Health requirements.
  • Develop knowledge of injection molding and the associated manufacturing process and equipment.
  • Assist in day-to-day problem-solving & troubleshooting support to manufacturing operations. Participate in daily production meetings.
  • Provide general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals) to lead/co-lead continuous improvement projects, cost reduction projects, equipment upgrades, and/or safety upgrades.
