About The Position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Implement changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree inchemicalengineering,mechanicalengineering, ora relatedfield.
  • 4-7 years of experienceas aManufacturing Process Engineer.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertisein Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
  • Handson equipment experience: Process automation, robotics, machining, molding, assembly, or other relevant technologies.
  • Proficiencyin data analysis: Minitab, JMP, Python, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems to support production planning and process tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process development: Design,validate, and implement new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, andworkflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical methods to reduce waste, variability, and cycletime.
  • Own rootcause analysis: Investigate production issues using structuredproblemsolvingtools (5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC).
  • Develop process documentation: Create andmaintainSOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and workinstructions.).
  • Leadcrossfunctionalprojects: Partner with Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Operations to deliver process improvements and new product introductions.
  • Optimize equipment performance: Specify,procure, andvalidatemachinery; improve OEE and reliability.
  • Support new product introduction: Translate product requirements into robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze production data: Use SPC, capability studies, and data analytics tomonitorand improve process performance.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance:Maintainadherence to safety, environmental, andindustryspecificstandards (ISO, FDA, AS9100, etc.)
  • Mentor junior engineers: Provide technical guidance and support skill development across the engineering team.
