About The Position

The Raymond Corporation seeks a Process Manufacturing Engineer III, Team Lead in Greene, NY to lead development, planning, testing and modification of new manufacturing, quality, and aftermarket processes, products, and systems. Lead projects to drive excellence in Paint, Shipping, Warehousing, and Custom Product Assembly processes in the Greene facilities. Utilize specialized engineering knowledge. Provide technical support to multiple levels of managers and employees over complex issues. Regularly analyze and evaluate procedures and make modifications as required. Identify and opportunities for significant procedure/process changes to management. Develop long term strategies and plans to meet business demands in responsible areas. Participate as member on interdepartmental or product design teams. Exchange information with multiple internal departments over a variety of routine and complex design related issues. Conduct engineering projects involving Product Finish Systems, Logistics and Custom Product Assembly. Design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems. Address day-to-day production issues involving manufacturing systems and operations. Lead projects in responsible areas with minimal guidance, namely process improvement initiatives, which tend to have significant impact on production throughput. Modify procedures as required and utilize creativity and ingenuity in order to accomplish tasks in most cost effective, accurate and timely manner. Be vigilant in adhering to IT security policies and procedures. Local telecommuting available up to 1 day a week. Annual salary: $108,514 to $115,495.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering Management, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field plus 1 year (or Bachelor’s and 5 progressive years) of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Process optimization or capital projects
  • Fabrication, welding, assembly, and automation technologies, including PLCs, robots, and AGVs
  • MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project for scheduling
  • 2D AutoCAD for facility layout planning
  • FlexSim Simulation for process optimization
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis to identify and mitigate risks
  • Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • VBA for automation in Excel
  • SQL for data querying and management
  • Statistical tools for process analysis and decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field or a professional license, plus a minimum of 3-5 years engineering experience, is required.
